Manayunk Welcome Center Opens

As of August 2024, Manayunk Development Corporation has a new building to call home. The new 4-story HQ for MDC was built at 106 Grape Street and includes not only 3 upper floors for offices, meetings, and community planning, but also the new Manayunk Welcome Center on the ground floor.

The Welcome Center is now open to the public 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and features a display created by the Roxborough Manayunk Wissahickon Historical Society that provides information on the Lenape, Canal, Mills, Bridges, Main Street, Events, and some famous Local People. The display includes timelines, maps, photos, sketches, diagrams, and more.
